Garlic Butter Shrimp
This is an easy shrimp recipe that tastes delicious. An Elegant rich flavor, serve it over linguine or just straight off the grill.
Ingredients:
- 1 lbs extra large shrimp, peeled deveined
Marinade:
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- ⅓ cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil chopped
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
Garlic Butter:
- 1 clove garlic minced
- ¼ cup butter melted
- 1 teaspoon parsley chopped
- lemon wedges for serving optional
Directions:
- Clean shrimp, devein and remove shell.
- Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl and whisk. Allow shrimp to marinate at least 20 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to high heat 400 to 425 degrees.
- Brush the grill grates with canola oil.
- Thread shrimp on metal skewers or wooden skewers that have been soaked in water for at least 1 hour.
- Grill the shrimp, just until pink and opaque, about 2 to 3 minutes per side, turning once half way through.
- Drizzle with garlic butter and serve warm
