Parmesan Halibut a Cheesy Delight
Tender Halibut fish that tastes amazing!
Ingredients:
- 2 pounds skinless halibut fillets
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons chopped green onions
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce (Tabasco)
Directions:
- Clean Halibut filet as needed checking for scales and bones.
- Pat dry the fish.
- In a bowl, mix the Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise, lemon juice, green onions, salt, and hot pepper sauce.
- Preheat the grill to medium high heat 375 to 400 degrees.
- Carefully oil the grates with a paper towel dabbed in vegetable oil.
- Place the fish on the grill grates and cook for about 3-6 minutes (dependant on thickness of the fish and heat on the grill).
- Spread with the Parmesan cheese mixture, and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes or until topping is bubbly and lightly browned. Check for the flakiness of the fish. If it pulls apart easily then the fish is ready to be removed from the grill. Otherwise cook the fish until it becomes flakey.
