Sweet Chili Salmon
Grilled Sweet Crusted Salmon is a real treat with this Sweet Chili Dry Rub. Serve with Red beans and rice. Delicious!
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds Salmon filets
- 1 grill wood plank
Dry Sweet Rub:
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon Ancho Chile pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
Directions:
- Clean, remove skin if desired from Salmon.
- Soak the wood plank for two hours in water
- For the sweet Chili rub: In a small bowl, mix together all of the rub ingredients.
- Generously coat both sides of the salmon fillets with the sweet rub.
- Preheat grill to 350 degrees.
- Place Salmon fillets directly over the heat of grill on the wood plank, cook about 10-20 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to medium 350 degrees. Cook the Salmon for another 6-8 minutes.
- Cook the salmon throughout and you can push on the meat and it wants to pull apart.
- Transfer salmon to a plate, Serve with your favorite side dish.
