Bacon Wrapped Asparagus
Ingredients:
1 pound of asparagus spears, trimmed 4 to 5 inches long
A few grinds black pepper
1 slice of bacon for each bundle of four asparagus spears
Directions:
Preheat grill to 375-400 degrees.
Season the asparagus with black pepper.
Take a quick count of the spear tips. Divide the total number by four.
Wrap each budle of about four asparagus spears with a slice of bacon. fasten bacon to asparagus with a toothpick on each end
Arrange bacon-wrapped asparagus on the prepared grill.
Grill until bacon is crispy, about 15 minutes, until bacon is crisp and asparagus bundles are tender.
