Bacon Wrapped Baked Potato
Ingredients:
1 medium to large Russet Potato
2 strips of thick-cut bacon
Cheddar Cheese (optional topping)
Chives (optional topping)
Sour Cream (optional topping)
Directions:
Clean and wash potato to remove dirt.
Wrap potato with two strips of bacon.
Wrap bacon wrapped potato with aluminum foil.
Preheat grill to 375-400 degrees.
Place potato on top rack of grill or use indirect grilling (not over flame).
Cook potato until tender about one hour depending on your grill heat.
Remove potato from grill unwrap from aluminum foil.
Slice potato lengthwise, and push the two ends of the potato together slightly to allow the white of the potato to puff out.
Add your favorite toppings and serve hot.
