Garlic Baked Potato
Nothing better than a garlic baked potato and steak. If you love garlic you will love this baked potato as a side dish. Use more or less garlic based on your preference.
Ingredients:
- 1 large Russet Potato
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2-3 slices butter about ½ tablespoon
Directions:
- Wash and clean potato.
- Cut potato length wise.
- Place one half of the potato on a sheet of aluminum foil.
- Score the potato with a knife to create a cross hatching scores. Be sure not to cut all the way through the potato only about a 1/8 to ¼ inch into the potato.
- Lightly dust garlic powder over the potato.
- Place the butter on top of the potato.
- Wrap the potato with the aluminum foil.
- Repeat the process for the other half of the potato.
- Preheat grill to 375-400 degrees.
- Place the wrapped potato on a preheated grill on a top rack if one available (Do not cook directly on flame)
- Cook potato until tender about 30 to 50 minutes based on your grill temperature.
- Repeat the process for the other half of the potato.
