Marinades
These are some of my favorite Marinade that I use on my recipes. With any marinade you can add-lib and experiment with the ingredients to suite your taste.
Steak Marinade 1
- 1/2 cup soy sauce (low sodium)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbls sesame oil
- 1 tsp fresh grinded ginger
- 1 1/2 tsp fresh minced garlic
- 1 tbls brown sugar
- 3 tbls water
Steak Marinade 2
- 1/4 cup Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2T. Minced garlic
- 2T. Steak seasoning, (A-1)
- 1 1/2 t. Red wine vinegar
- 1/4 t. Dried basil
- 1/4 t. Italian seasoning (I do oregano)
Chicken Fajita Marinade
(marinade chicken for at least 1 hour)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
London Broil Marinade
(marinade for at least 8 hours)
- 4 large garlic cloves, minced
- 4 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled
- 1 teaspoon dried basil, crumbled
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme, crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon dried hot red pepper flakes
- 2/3 cup olive oil
- 1 (2 to 2 1/2 pound) London broil
Marinade for Scallops
(marinade scallops for at 1 hour)
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoons minces garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
